Sometimes, when you know, you know. The minute Matt and Emily locked eyes for the first time, they knew they had something special. By the end of their first date, it was clear that they were each other’s soulmates. And in six short months of dating, Matt got down on one knee and asked the life-changing question in front of their closest family members.
Their love story is a whirlwind romance that most of us only dream about. Their wedding day was full of joy as their love emanated through every smile, touch, and longing glance that they stole from each other throughout the day. Anyone lucky enough to join them on their Big Day saw firsthand just how well these two people belong together.
The “Day-Of” Jitters
The special day began with a relaxing morning. Emily slipped into her gorgeous floor-length gown with the help of her mother and wedding party. Her elegant look was a long-sleeved, sheer dress sprinkled with lace details on the top. The bridal party looked stunning in their velvet burnt orange dresses, each one reflecting a taste of their own personal style.
The Ceremony’s Beautiful Little Details
Situated in one of Colorado’s most beautiful locations, Matt and Emily could not have asked for a better backdrop for their nuptials. The Arrowhead Golf Course offers up never-ending fields of green and a comprehensive look at some of the best mountain views that Colorado has to offer.
The color palette was perfectly blended with nature’s breathtaking views: bursts of orange and white complemented the striking red rocks and effervescent greenery. Tearful vows were exchanged on the ceremony site in front of friends and family who couldn’t contain their joy for the loving couple.
The Wedding reception
After the ceremony, the guests were ushered to a beautiful outdoor tent area for cocktail hour. The ceremony and reception were conveniently located in the same area. The exterior of the venue was decorated with rustic outdoor string lights and standup tables reflective of the wedding’s floral arrangements. Guests were encouraged to hit a few rounds of golf during the wedding reception, a unique touch that added an element of originality to their wedding day.
The couple was greeted with enthusiastic applause before immediately launching into their first dance as husband and wife.
